Securing Massachusetts and Local Tax Incentives to Maximize Opportunity Zone Benefits for Developers and Investors

5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Sullivan & Worcester Conference Center, Boston, MA
November 29, 2018

There's been a lot of discussion about Opportunity Zones recently. Those looking to develop or invest in an Opportunity Zone should also be aware of various incentive programs that are available. Taking advantage of these incentive programs, along with federal Opportunity Zone benefits, maximizes the benefits available to developers, investors and other stakeholders.

Dan Ryan and Karen Kepler, partners in the firm's Opportunity Zone Practice Group, and Lynn Tokarczyk, President of Business Development Strategies, Inc., will discuss the various benefits of the federal Opportunity Zone program and other federal tax credits, and how these programs can be coupled with State Tax Credits, State Abandoned Building Tax Deductions, Municipal Tax Increment Financing and Municipal Personal Property Tax Relief.

This program will allow attendees to gain an understanding of the municipal, state and federal tax benefits available when considering an investment in an Opportunity Zone. A networking reception will follow the discussion.

Registration: 5:00 - 5:30 pm
