Eric D. Lemont

Eric D. Lemont is a partner in the Real Estate Department of our Boston office. Mr. Lemont’s practice focuses on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales across various property types (office, retail, industrial, multi-family and hospitality), joint ventures, and mezzanine, construction and permanent financings. His clients include developers, real estate funds, REITs, insurance companies, institutional investors, and owner/operators. In addition, he regularly represents corporate clients on a diverse range of real estate related matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lemont was an associate in the REITs and real estate capital markets group of Goodwin Procter LLP.

Mr. Lemont has additional expertise in matters of American Indian law and governance. In addition to previously working as outside counsel to various tribes, he served as a research fellow at the Harvard Project on American Indian Economic Development at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, directed its Initiative on American Indian Constitutional Reform and edited American Indian Constitutional Reform and the Rebuilding of Native Nations (University of Texas Press).
