Eric D. Lemont is an associate in the Real Estate Department of Sullivan & Worcester. Mr. Lemont’s practice focuses on a wide variety of transactional commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and sales across various property types (office, retail, industrial, multi-family and hospitality), debt purchases, joint ventures, and mezzanine, construction and permanent financings, with particular expertise representing borrowers in subscription-secured financings. In addition, he regularly represents corporate clients on a diverse range of real estate related matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lemont was an associate with Goodwin Procter LLP.

Representative Client Work

  • Represented an administrative agent in a $47 million construction loan to develop 209 luxury apartment units and related retail space in a major U.S. city
  • Represented a leading hotel investment group in the acquisition of multiple hotel properties throughout the U.S.
  • Represented numerous real estate funds and ventures in selling and acquiring mortgage and mezzanine debt, including both whole loans and participating interests
  • Represented an insurance company in providing construction financing for high-profile hotel and condominium in Boston, Massachusetts
  • Represented an insurance company in connection with sale of office park in Waltham, Massachusetts and related assignment of securitized mortgage loan
  • Represented numerous institutional investment funds in obtaining over $1 billion in subscription-secured credit facilities
  • Represented various lenders in deeds in lieu of foreclosure
