Margaret M. Bateman

Margaret M. Bateman serves as counsel to the Corporate Department of our Boston office, focusing her practice on asset and mortgage securitization and corporate finance. Her asset and mortgage securitization practice includes representation of issuers, credit enhancers and liquidity providers in domestic and cross-border transactions involving a wide range of assets and structures. Ms. Bateman was previously vice president and legal counsel for Swiss Re Life & Health America Inc., where she served as the lead legal contact for Swiss Re’s securitizations of future profits from portfolios of life insurance.
