Martha F. Coultrap is partner and leader of the Private Investment Funds Group in the Corporate Department. Ms. Coultrap represents a variety of investors in alternative investments, including institutional investors and funds of funds. Her institutional clients include regulated financial institutions, public and private pension funds, and foreign pension funds and private investors in domestic and offshore buy-out, growth, venture capital, hedge and special situations' funds. She has also represented private and public companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, service, marketing and catalog businesses. Commercial matters that Ms. Coultrap has handled include fund formation, private and public securities offerings, bank regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Ms. Coultrap is currently serving as co-chair of the firm's Diversity Committee.

  • Responsible for secondary transactions involving over $500 million of limited partner commitments
  • During 2007, responsible for more than 70 private equity fund investments representing over $2 billion in commitments
