Lewis N. Segall

Lewis N. Segall is a partner in the Corporate Department of our Boston office. Mr. Segall’s practice is focused on a number of transactional areas. He regularly represents financial institutions in secured and unsecured credit facilities. He also represents public and private operating companies in equity and debt financings, joint ventures, domestic and international mergers and acquisition, and general corporate matters. His clients consist of major financial institutions, as well as emerging and established companies engaged in a variety of industries, including advertising, health care, renewable energy, communications, manufacturing, market research and software.

Representative Client Work

  • Represented a senior lender in several acquisition financings for borrowers in the restaurant industry
  • Represented the lender in a $100 million financing of an international consulting company
  • Represented the agent bank in an asset-based credit facility for a publicly traded finance company
  • Represented the senior lender in an acquisition financing and subsequent workout for a borrower in the life sciences industry
  • Represented a renewable energy company in a $45 million venture financing round and multiple R&D agreements with a strategic investor
  • Represented a private equity firm in its $140 million acquisition of a public software company
  • Represented a health care company in its sale to a private equity firm
  • Represented the founder in the $120 million sale of a personal care products company
  • Represented the founder in the formation of an oil exploration company and subsequently the company in general corporate and commercial matters and its eventual sale to a multinational oil services concern for approximately $20 million
  • Represented the management group in its leveraged buy out of a pressure measurement technologies company and continue to represent the company in corporate governance and other matters
