Nicole Laccetti Rives

Counsel

Nicole Laccetti Rives serves as counsel to the Corporate Department in our Boston office. Her practice consists primarily of representing institutional lenders in secured and unsecured financing transactions, including representing major insurance companies in connection with their acquisition of privately placed debt and equity securities. This area of her practice has a particular focus in the agricultural and natural resource industries. Her practice also includes the acquisition and securitization of lottery receivables by institutional investors, intercreditor issues and general corporate matters.

Representative Client Work

  • Represented life insurance companies and other institutional investors in structuring and acquiring over $500 million of senior notes including transactions involving real property and equipment security in multi-state transactions
  • Represented life insurance companies and other mezzanine investors in structuring and acquiring over $250 million of subordinated notes and preferred stock including transactions involving junior subordinated liens
  • Represented life insurance companies in acquiring over $100 million of lottery receivables
  • Represented a life insurance company in connection with the conversion of limited partnership interests into $135 million of publicly traded units in a Canadian income fund
