Sullivan & Worcester Wins "Best Law Firm in Trade Finance" Award for Second Year Running

S&W Press Release
June 24, 2015

London, June 24, 2015 - Sullivan & Worcester is delighted to announce that it has been named “Best Law Firm in Trade Finance” by Trade & Forfaiting Review (TFR) for the second year running in its annual TFR Excellence Awards 2015.

Geoffrey Wynne, head of the Trade & Export Finance Group and Sullivan & Worcester’s London office, commented: “Winning this award for the second year in a row is very rewarding for the team, reflecting as it does the extent of our trade, commodities and export finance practice from our offices in London and New York. The practice has a strong emphasis on emerging markets, including Africa, Asia, CIS and Latin America and has had a busy and successful year, supporting clients and building a solid client base. Our challenge has been to build on the success for which we were given this accolade last year, and by winning it again the team feels that it is heading in the right direction.”

Part of the firm’s global finance practice, Sullivan & Worcester’s trade and export finance practice handles multi-jurisdictional transactions and matters for clients across trade and export finance, project finance, asset finance, securitization, securities law, insurance, tax, compliance issues and dispute resolution.

The team advises on deals involving commodities, receivables, structured finance, trade services, Export Credit Agency (ECA) and trade disputes across all types of commodities including softs, metals, oil and gas.

The full list of award winners can be found here. Further details of these awards will be published in the July/August 2015 issue of TFR.
