Congress Passes Sweeping International Tax Reform

The American Jobs Creation Act of 2004 became law on October 22nd. While the Act was originally intended simply to repeal the extraterritorial income exclusion regime, it in fact contains a dizzying array of domestic and international tax provisions. The attached Client Advisory summarizes some of the more significant international tax provisions of the Act.
