Employer Use of Revised Form I-9 Mandatory as of December 26, 2007

This Client Advisory reminds U.S. employers that use of a new version of Form I-9 is now mandatory and it provides an overview of every employer's obligation to verify that all employees hired after November 6, 1986 are authorized for employment in the U.S. The revised Form I-9 reflects changes to the documents an employer may accept as evidence of employment authorization.
