Boston CEO ClubDecember 13, 2005Howard Berkenblit, a partner in Sullivan & Worcester's Securities and Corporate Finance Group, spoke on the topic, "The Impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on Private Companies," at this forum. Mr. Berkenblit's presentation identified the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act that applied to private companies and explored considerations for selling a private company to a public company. The audience learned about the best practices being sought out by venture capitalists, lenders and others when they are doing business with private companies.
