Martha Coultrap participated as a faculty member in "Legal Consequences of the Market Collapse & the Ongoing Fallout." This program focused on the impact that the meltdown in the financial markets has had on private equity funds. Areas covered included changes in the regulation of short sales, changes in prime brokerage and counter party issues, managing fund liquidity and investor redemptions, limited partner defaults, prospects for the regulation of credit default swaps, and the prospects for new regulatory initiatives in Europe and in the U.S., particularly under a new administration.
