Record Storage Fires and Fire Protection

Larry Varn, a Partner in the Litigation Department, will co-present with Gerald R. Schultz, P.E., of Fire Protection International, Inc., at this annual meeting. The topic of their presentation will be "Record Storage Fires and Fire Protection." The session will present detailed information on historical fires involving records in storage, including the large loss fires in New Jersey in 1997 and London, UK, in 2006. Methodology and results of large scale tests of sprinkler protection for records in 2007 will also be discussed.
