Federalist Society/Commonwealth Shakespeare CompanySeventh Annual Shakespeare and the Law SeriesMay 31, 2006 Barry Pollack, a Litigation Partner in Sullivan & Worcester's Government Investigations & White Collar Defense Group, played the role of Octavius Caesar in the production of Julius Caesar, which was followed by a discussion of George W. Bush and the Imperial Presidency. The event featured Boston's best and brightest in the legal world, including former US attorney Wayne Budd, Supreme Judicial Court Justice Judy Cowin, federal judges Douglas Woodlock, Rya Zobel, Dennis Saylor, George O'Toole, Nathaniel Gorton and Patti Saris, performing key scenes from Shakespeare's classic depiction of the abuse of executive power, political assassination and intrigue. The staged reading was directed by Steven Maler, founding Artistic Director of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Resident Director at the Wang Center.
