Louizos and David J. Nagle to partner in the firm's investment management and tax groups respectively. Curry. Stacy Louizos is a member of the Investment Management Practice Group of the Corporate Department in the New York office. Ms. Louizos' practice focuses on the representation of registered investment companies (mutual funds) and their independent directors and investment advisers, and includes: the organization and offering of open-end and closed-end investment companies; mergers of individual mutual funds and fund complexes; and counseling on compliance and other regulatory matters under the federal securities laws. She received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992, where she was a National Merit Scholar, and a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1997. She is admitted to the bar in Virginia (1997) and the District of Columbia (1999). David Nagle is a member of the Tax Department in the Boston office. His practice involves both transactional tax planning and representing taxpayers in disputes before the Internal Revenue Service and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. After earning his B.A., with honors, from the University of Virginia in 1991 and his M.A. from the University of Michigan in 1995, he received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1997 and his LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 2000. He is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts (1997) and to the United States Tax Court (1998).
