Sullivan & Worcester Captures Top Pro Bono Honor

Boston, MA – April 15, 2009 – Sullivan & Worcester LLP was awarded the Denis Maguire Pro Bono Award for the firm's commitment to access to justice in the Boston Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyers Project.

According to the VLP, the firm has made an outstanding contribution providing pro bono representation to low-income unemployment claimants. Sullivan & Worcester began this pro bono work as a part of the VLP Summer Associate Project several years ago. Soon after, the firm began accepting unemployment appeals cases throughout the year.

W. Lee H. Dunham spearheaded this effort and assumed much of the responsibility for ongoing training and mentoring of others in the firm.
