Boston, MA – April 27, 2015 – Sullivan & Worcester LLP is pleased to announce that Michael P. Kiskinis has joined the firm as the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kiskinis will be resident in our Boston office.

Mr. Kiskinis will provide strategic guidance in addition to managing the firm’s day-to-day business operations. In his previous law firm management roles over the last 13 years, he has designed and implemented numerous innovative strategies, including the development of an in-house pricing role, which was critical to the firm’s ability to provide real value to clients and to measure the value of the work to the firm. Mr. Kiskinis also established a strong financial analysis team that provided the firm practice leaders with dedicated business analysts who provide proactive guidance and assessment of their practices.

At S&W, he is excited to utilize his past experiences along with his deep understanding of legal services to navigate the many changes the industry is facing. When asked about his new position, he said, "The increasingly competitive legal services environment requires savvy financial expertise to help identify ways of improving the bottom line while at the same time providing the service that clients expect."

"We are thrilled to welcome Mike back to the firm as our new COO," said Joel R. Carpenter, Managing Partner. "His deep experience and skills in law firm management will help S&W continue to grow as a leader in client service."

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kiskinis served as the Chief Operating Officer at Edwards Wildman. Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer at Goodwin Procter for more than a decade, where he was responsible for 60 professionals in the Finance, Accounting, Financial Systems, and Risk Management departments. Mr. Kiskinis formerly served as Director of Finance at Sullivan & Worcester.
